Our annual matching donation drive has started! All donations will be matched until January 31, 2025 up to $20,000. Every donation of $250 and over will receive a hand-woven Kazakh bag from Bayan-Olgii, Mongolia.
We received a generous donation of beautiful handmade bags with zipper closures at the top! They were purchased 20 years ago and have been lovingly preserved ever since. These are one-of-a-kind pieces of history were made from retired Tuzkeez (wall hangings) by a long-time friend of FIRE’s in Olgii, western Mongolia. These were some of the last bags she made before retiring her craft. We are excited to share them with you!
Additionally, we have an extensive collection of beautifully handmade pillowcases, purses, accessory bags, backpacks, and scarves from our pre-COVID days of selling them at Flagstaff markets.
