Baasantsetseg Baatar
Ms. Baasantsetseg has been with FIRE since April 2011. She earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Ulaanbaatar. After graduation, she served as the Chief Accountant at Boroo Mining Co. Ltd., one of Mongolia’s largest mining companies, for three years. From 2009 to 2011, she worked as the Accountant and Office Manager for World Growth Mongolia, an international non-governmental organization (INGO) operating in Mongolia.
Ms. Baasantsetseg finds great fulfillment in working for NGOs, believing it gives her a more profound sense of purpose. Her international experience, including seven years in London and two years in Russia, has given her a firm grasp of Western accounting practices and the ability to bridge professional and cultural gaps between Mongolia and the West. At FIRE, she ensures strict adherence to U.S. and Mongolian accounting standards and laws. Her expertise in logistics enables her to effectively manage the general operations, program administration, and budgeting for FIRE’s office.
