On June 4th, the Rotary Club of Flagstaff presented FIRE with a check for $1,000. Every year, the Club gives away $1,000 to five organizations. Club members nominate nonprofit organizations for consideration. The nominated nonprofits proceed through a series of votes until the top five are selected. Meredith Potts, FIRE’s Executive Director, nominated FIRE for the grant.
FIRE has collaborated with Rotary clubs in Arizona, Mongolia, and worldwide since 2004. Specifically, FIRE and the Rotary Club of Flagstaff have been two entities directly involved in Hepatitis-Free Mongolia.
